Bandit's Model 1900 is considered to be one of the top choices for land and right-of-way clearers. Some features on the 1900 include the five-wheel feed system, which is considered the best feed system ever developed for a whole tree chipper. Another feature is that the 1900 produces a dimensional, clean chip that can be used for boiler fuel. This unit is available with engine horsepower options ranging from 525 to 535 horsepower.

The 1900 features a 220° swivel discharge spout, allowing the operator to discharge chips in all directions. The swivel discharge also allows the operator to switch trailers in seconds. Five or six trailers can be spotted at the chipper. This powerful chipper will convert a 19" diameter whole tree to chips in under a minute and will chip a 25-ton load of chips in under 30 minutes. The towable unit is available with or without a loader. The loaderless unit, called the 1900XL, is commonly used by mechanized loggers for dropping tops and un-merchantable whole trees while extracting saw logs and pulp wood. A cable remote and radio remote are available so that the chipper can be controlled from an auxiliary loader.

The Towable 1900 with a cab is an excellent machine for the high production land clearer and logger. All 1900's are available with a 5 ½-foot track-type infeed conveyor, which is recommended for feeding brush and short material.
