Provides product transportation of parts and other items to different lines to support their production needs. Make sure proper shipping documents are with each pallet of parts or item being transported. Unload all parts in a orderly fashion keeping all aisle ways clear. Immediately unload UPS truck for any red orders. Prioritize level five (rush orders) ahead of all other duties.

Physical Demands: While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to possess good vision and hearing; be able to follow directions and have the ability to retain information. Must be able to use all four limbs and pass a written and practical forklift test. Employee must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and carry at least 20 lbs., climb, reach, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch and bend. Must be able to withstand extreme temperature difference moving product between buildings. Reasonable accommodations can be made.
Perform daily checks on forklift and record all maintenance needed on equipment
Coordinate with steel room on all special deliveries
Assist with putting parts away, re-use any good pallets, return all part bins to steel room
Ensure that ship out parts are delivered promptly and with proper documentation
Consistently keep the forklift loaded and moving parts
Be sure no equipment is left outside in inclement weather
Be sure sides of building are clean and free of debris
Keep gondos emptied inside and inform supervision when they need to be unloaded

Operate other accessory equipment and performing tasks necessary for welding such as: Oxygen/Acetylene cutting torches, power hand tools, overhead hoists, magnets, etc.
Control the processes of fitting, burning and welding to avoid problems in relation to overheat, distortion, expansion or shrinking of parts.
